PRM reopens membership registry ahead of upcoming primaries

The Dominican Revolutionary Modern Party (PRM) has officially reopened its membership rolls to register new members through the ‘Verifícate’ digital portal. This move is part of the party's internal organization strategy to prepare for upcoming primary elections.

Executive Vice President Deligne Ascención announced that the party aims to close the membership registry in May to begin preparations for the primaries, with the goal of having candidates selected by October. The party leadership also plans to conduct two specific registration drives: one on October 30–31 and another at the end of November.

In addition to expanding its membership base, the PRM will focus on strengthening political training and organizational structures. Secretary General Juan Garrigó Mejía stated that the party leadership will continue traveling to various provinces to listen to local leaders and address organizational concerns.
