Prnjavor celebrates street football world champions

Citizens of Prnjavor held a ceremonial welcome for Dejan Živković, Duško Subić, Arsen Knežević, and Miloš Milijašević following their victory at the street football “three-on-three” World Championship. The team secured the title in Utrecht, Netherlands, after defeating Latvia with a score of 4:3 in extra time.

Prnjavor Mayor Darko Tomaš praised the athletes, stating that the city is proud of the champions and noting that their success is the result of decades of training. Team member Aleksandar Njegnjić highlighted the difficulty of the preparations and the significance of being first among 28 competing teams. Živković expressed gratitude to the city and supporters, noting that the team achieved a result that exceeded expectations.
