Pro League and DAZN Seal 2030 Broadcast Partnership

The Belgian Pro League and broadcaster DAZN have ended their long‑running legal dispute and signed a new agreement that extends their collaboration until 2030. The deal is presented as a way to bring stability and continuity to the country’s professional football competitions.

The agreement follows months of tension after DAZN unilaterally terminated its previous TV contract, citing the commercial unviability of an €84.2 million‑per‑year deal and its failure to secure agreements with telecom operators Telenet and Proximus. The dispute had left clubs and fans uncertain about the broadcast of matches.

Pro League CEO Lorin Parys and DAZN Belgium CEO Massimo D'Amario said the partnership will focus on improving the fan experience, increasing the visibility of Belgian football and supporting clubs, sponsors and players through a shared, long‑term vision.
