Pro-life activists removed from Idaho coffee shop

Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America, reported that a group of pro-life activists was asked to leave Wydaho Roasters, a coffee shop in Driggs, Idaho. The group, which included approximately 10 to 12 people and Hawkins' family, had gathered to organize a local chapter of the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities and discuss pro-life strategies for the Teton Valley area.

Hawkins stated that the meeting was quiet, respectful, and conducted while the group was also acting as paying customers. According to the activists, the shop owner approached the group and demanded they leave, reportedly comparing the pro-life advocates to members of the KKK. Hawkins noted that while the establishment has a history of local philanthropy, such as supporting animal shelters, that support was not extended to their group during the encounter.
