Pro-life advocates discuss support for Pregnancy Resource Centers

Pro-life advocates argue that their movement extends beyond preventing abortion to supporting life at all stages, including through the work of Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs). These centers reportedly serve approximately 4 million people annually, providing over $450 million in free goods and services, primarily through donations.

To support these organizations without the regulatory complications of direct public funding, some suggest state tax credit models. Unlike tax deductions, which reduce taxable income, tax credits reduce actual tax liability, providing a stronger incentive for private donations to flow directly to PRCs rather than being processed through government administration.

Additionally, discussions regarding the terminology of end-of-life care have emerged. Critics of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) argue that the term is a euphemism that masks what they characterize as medicalized killing or assisted suicide.
