Pro Loco Ripe wins Italian Team Rulletto Championship

The 18th Italian Team Rulletto Championship took place on September 12 and 13, 2026, in Montese and Castel d’Aiano within the Bolognese Apennines. Organized by ASD Montese and Santa Lucia under the FIGeST (Italian Federation of Traditional Games and Sports), the event featured 27 teams from eight provinces.

In Category A, the Pro Loco Ripe team from Trecastelli secured the championship title. The final was highly competitive, requiring a tie-breaking throw after Ripe and Corinaldo finished level. I Matti di Corinaldo took second place, followed by Cingoli in third.

In Category B, the local team Montese 3 claimed first place, defeating the Ruzzola Valcesano team from Mondolfo. The competition involved two days of rounds, with teams competing using a wooden disc weighing at least 1.5 kilograms.
