Pro Vasto suffers second defeat in three days against Celano

Pro Vasto suffered its second defeat in three days, losing 1-2 away to Celano in an Eccellenza match. Rossi scored a brace for Celano in the first half, establishing a lead that Pro Vasto could not overcome despite a late goal from Cesario.

The loss follows a previous defeat against Rosetana, halting Pro Vasto's early-season momentum after two consecutive wins. Club President Andrea Zaami stated that the two losses should not jeopardize the club's growth project, emphasizing the need for improvement rather than drama.

To strengthen the squad, the club is expected to sign two midfielders, including Marzio Di Bartolo from Leon. Meanwhile, midfielder Henri Tafili has left the team. Pro Vasto will look to recover in their upcoming match against San Giovanni Teatino at the Aragona stadium.
