ProBem program adds 4,000 scholarship beneficiaries in Goiás

The University Program of Good (ProBem) has added 4,000 new beneficiaries for the second semester. The group includes 1,000 students receiving full scholarships and 3,000 receiving partial scholarships. The formalization ceremony took place at the Rio Vermelho Theater in Goiânia.

Beneficiaries are spread across 241 municipalities in the state of Goiás, enrolled in 111 undergraduate courses at 125 higher education institutions. The program targets students in situations of social vulnerability, using data from the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) for selection.

Scholarship values are up to R$ 1,500 for full grants and R$ 650 for partial grants, with higher limits available for Medicine and Dentistry students. In addition to financial aid, participants can access training courses, internship opportunities through the Banco de Oportunidades, and socio-assistance support networks.
