ProChile and CREAS launch export program for Valparaíso food companies

ProChile and the Regional Center for Studies in Healthy Foods (CREAS) have launched the Export Coaching Program 2026 to support food sector companies in Chile’s Valparaíso Region. The two-month technical initiative focused on helping nine companies with export potential design and strengthen their international business plans.

The participating companies—Troja, Frutos del Mauco, Frutotos, Origo, Prooliva, Mare Premium, Ayurpacha, Stefymar, and Pastaliolo—received training in foreign trade, PESTEL analysis, export diagnostics, and SWOT analysis. The program aimed to refine their value propositions and strategic approaches to ensure long-term competitiveness in global markets.

Target markets for these businesses include Canada, the United States, Mexico, Japan, Colombia, Germany, and Argentina. Ivo Sandoval, regional director of ProChile Valparaíso, noted that the initiative provides the professional development and strategic information necessary for companies to not only reach new destinations but also maintain a presence in them.
