ProChile leads biotechnology trade mission to Brazil

Chilean companies participated in the Deep Tech Week commercial mission in Brazil to connect with the country's scientific and technological ecosystem. Organized by ProChile, the mission included representatives from the Los Ríos, Los Lagos, Biobío, and Metropolitan regions, focusing on sectors such as biotechnology, health, food, environment, and agribusiness.

AVHA Group, a company specializing in salmoniculture diagnostics composed of the ADL and Vehice laboratories, announced the opening of a new laboratory in São José do Rio Preto. This expansion aims to strengthen its presence in Brazil and support the local tilapia industry. Hugo Roa, a representative of AVHA Group, noted that the mission helped identify collaboration opportunities in animal health and synergies between Chilean and Brazilian market actors.

ProChile is currently evaluating the possibility of an official Chilean presence with a dedicated stand at the fair in 2027.
