Procida Jazz Fest adjusts schedule due to bad weather

The inaugural Procida Jazz Fest, held on the island of Procida, features over fifty national and international artists performing various jazz styles, including swing, bebop, and bossa nova.

Due to inclement weather involving rain and wind, several scheduled performances have been adjusted. The Hakan Başar Trio concert, originally set for sunset at Terra Murata, has been moved to the main stage at Piazza Marina Grande. Additionally, the Half Century Trio Orchestra, a local big band directed by Francesco Trio, has had its opening performance rescheduled to Sunday, September 13, at 12:30 PM.

Despite these changes, the festival's overall program remains intact. Featured performers include Max Ionata, the Hammond Groovers 4et, Giuseppe Venezia 5et with trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, and a grand finale paying tribute to Frank Sinatra by Gianluca Guidi and the Elio Coppola Trio.
