Procida Jazz Fest to debut in September 2026

The inaugural Procida Jazz Fest is scheduled to take place on the island of Procida from September 10 to 13, 2026. The event aims to extend the local tourist season by offering high-quality cultural programming that explores various jazz styles, including swing, bebop, Latin influences, and bossa nova.

The festival features twelve concerts across five locations, involving over fifty national and international artists such as Fabrizio Bosso, Max Ionata, Hakan Başar, Javier Girotto, Dany Noel, and Gianluca Guidi. The program also includes a seminar on the history of jazz from its origins to the 1950s led by Lino Volpe.

In conjunction with the festival, the exhibition ‘Fotografando Jazz’ by Francesco Truono will open on August 28 at Palazzo d’Avalos. The festival is promoted by the New Around Midnight and Napoli Jazz Club associations, with support from the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region.
