Sorocaba Procon Mobile unit to serve central district next week

The municipal consumer protection agency (Procon) will operate a mobile unit in Sorocaba's central area on Monday (10), Wednesday (12) and Friday (14) of next week. No prior appointment is required. On Monday the unit will be at Praça Coronel Fernando Prestes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; on Wednesday and Friday it will be at the Terminal São Paulo, Rua Leopoldo Machado, 259, also from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The service allows residents to file consumer complaints, receive guidance on the Programa de Apoio ao Superendividado (PAS), and negotiate debt repayment. The Procon office, linked to the Prefeitura de Sorocaba through the Secretaria de Governo (Segov), also offers in‑person assistance at its main headquarters and at several Casas do Cidadão throughout the city.
