Procore partners with Meta to test AI-enabled smart glasses

Procore Technologies has announced the launch of Procore AI Go, a voice-first mobile application designed to allow construction teams to access project data through spoken commands. Currently in open beta for eligible customers in North America, the app enables field personnel to query drawings, specifications, RFIs, and inspection records using natural language to receive instant spoken answers.

In a separate closed beta collaboration with Meta, Procore is testing the integration of these AI capabilities into smart glasses. This initiative aims to provide a hands-free experience, allowing workers to access information and capture first-person photos by voice without interrupting manual tasks. Procore is conducting a study with Moss Construction to evaluate how these AI agents and wearables can reduce administrative burdens on construction crews.

Additionally, Procore revealed advancements in its partnership with Nvidia. Through the use of Nvidia Omniverse libraries, users can now utilize Model Manager and Realism Mode to visualize projects in highly realistic 3D environments, simulating how real-world conditions like extreme weather might affect a site.
