Procter & Gamble (P&G) is working to achieve its Net Zero 2040 ambition by focusing on greenhouse gas emissions across its global operations and supply chain. To support this goal, the company has set science-based targets for 2030, aiming for a 40% reduction in supply chain emissions per unit of production compared to a 2020 baseline.

Through participation in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Partnership for Carbon Transparency (WBCSD PACT), P&G is utilizing standardized carbon data to improve sourcing decisions. This initiative has enabled the company to collect product-level carbon data from over 100 suppliers, helping to build a market for low-carbon raw materials and accelerate decarbonization through increased data transparency in the value chain.
