Procuraduría office in Bogotá struck by gunfire

A judicial investigation is underway in Bogotá after a 9 mm bullet struck a window on the 26th floor of the Procuraduría General de la Nación building. The impact occurred in the office of Pedro Bonilla, the prosecutor delegated to the Supreme Court of Justice.

The incident took place over the weekend when the building was unoccupied, and no officials were injured. Authorities have ruled out the use of a rifle, determining the projectile was from a pistol. While investigators are looking into whether this was a targeted attack, the primary hypothesis is that it may have been an isolated incident or a stray bullet from an external source.
