Prodean association rescues 20 dogs from unsanitary conditions in Pinos Puente

Local police in Pinos Puente, Granada, have rescued 20 dogs from a property found in conditions of severe unsanitary neglect. Following reports from concerned neighbors, officers discovered the animals living amidst accumulated waste, food scraps, and excrement. Some of the dogs showed evident physical deterioration.

The animal welfare association Prodean, based in La Línea de la Concepción, has taken charge of the dogs to provide necessary medical attention and care. Authorities noted that the intervention was made possible through citizen cooperation, which prevented the situation from remaining hidden.

Reports indicate the residence was occupied by a man approximately 60 years old in a vulnerable situation, who had accumulated significant amounts of refuse in the home.
