Produbanco recognized for contributions to SDGs in Ecuador

Produbanco has been recognized by Revista Vistazo as one of the companies in Ecuador making the most significant contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The award was presented during the ODS Leaders Summit held in Guayaquil.

The selection was based on a study by the consultancy Ypsilom, which evaluated corporate performance and best practices since 2015. Key factors in the evaluation included B Corp certifications, GRI standard reports, and carbon neutrality achievements. Produbanco, a member of Grupo Promerica, is noted for being the first private capital Latin American bank to achieve B Corp recertification with a score of 103.8 points and for maintaining carbon neutrality for six consecutive years.
