Producer Andrew Watt confirms unreleased Ozzy Osbourne songs exist

Producer Andrew Watt has confirmed the existence of unreleased songs recorded with Ozzy Osbourne during the final stages of the singer's career. Watt, who produced Osbourne’s last two studio albums, ‘Ordinary Man’ and ‘Patient Number 9’, revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that certain tracks were created for specific reasons. He noted that he has found it difficult to listen to the material since Osbourne’s death on July 22, 2025.

Watt also provided details regarding a failed attempt to reunite the original Black Sabbath lineup. According to the producer, Osbourne had expressed a desire to record a final album with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. While Iommi and Butler were reportedly open to the idea, the project could not proceed due to personal reasons involving drummer Bill Ward.
