Producer Perry, key to YG Entertainment's early success, missing since 2010

The SBS investigative program ‘Unanswered Questions’ has launched an appeal to locate Perry, an American rapper and producer who was instrumental in shaping the early musical identity of YG Entertainment.

Perry, who worked with foundational YG artists such as Jinusean, 1TYM, Lexy, and BIGBANG, has not been seen since 2010, when he was reportedly last located in Los Angeles. His disappearance has left family, friends, and former colleagues without confirmed information regarding his whereabouts for approximately 16 years.

Former 1TYM member Song Baek Kyung noted that Perry’s lifestyle changed around 2003, when he reportedly stopped smoking and drinking and began distancing himself from acquaintances. While his influence on the K-pop industry was significant—even serving as a mentor to modern producers like Teddy—his current status remains a mystery.
