ProefPark Haarlem transforms Kenaupark into culinary festival

The twelfth edition of ProefPark Haarlem transformed Kenaupark into an open-air culinary venue on August 29 and 30. Approximately thirty food trucks offered around ninety different dishes, including street food and specialties from India, Japan, and the Balkans. To encourage variety, dishes were served in smaller portions for sharing.

Beyond food, the event featured music, a silent disco, and activities for children such as face painting and seaweed-related workshops. The festival also emphasized sustainability through waste separation, the use of reusable cups, and the preparation of staff meals using rescued products. Local specialty beers were available at the temporary cafe, 't Wapen van Kenau.
