PROERD graduation ceremonies held in Anastácio and Campos Novos

The Drug and Violence Resistance Educational Program (PROERD) recently held graduation ceremonies for students in different Brazilian municipalities.

In Anastácio, first-grade students from three municipal schools—Alcebíades Alves de Albres, Honorivaldo Alves de Albres, and Jardim Independência—received certificates and medals. The ceremony, attended by local authorities and military police, focused on teaching children about decision-making and prevention of violence and drug use.

In Campos Novos, the program celebrated 25 years of local operation with a graduation for 608 fifth-grade students from municipal, state, and private schools. The event highlighted the partnership between the local government and the Military Police. This year's ceremony featured the distribution of the program's mascot, a lion named Daren, to each participating child.
