PROERD returns to municipal schools in Valinhos

The Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program (PROERD) is returning to municipal schools in Valinhos through a partnership with the Military Police. The initiative is scheduled to begin on August 24, initially targeting 5th-grade students across four municipal schools: EMEB Cecília Meireles, EMEB Jorge Bierrenbach de Castro, EMEB Franco Montoro, and EMEB Dom Bosco.

The course is expected to last approximately 12 weeks. Local education officials and the Military Police have been coordinating the program's return since the first half of the year. Following this initial phase, there are plans to expand the program to other school units within the city.
