Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yaman honored by family naming newborn after him

In the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, a family has named their newborn baby Mehmet Yaman to honor Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yaman, the owner and practitioner of a local private hospital.

The decision was inspired by the doctor’s conduct during an emergency room visit. The family, led by Hasan Dilaver, noted that Dr. Yaman showed exceptional care not only toward patients but also toward medical staff and cleaning personnel, asking about their well-being.

In response to the gesture, Prof. Dr. Yaman announced several hospital initiatives. Any baby born at the hospital who is named Mehmet Yaman will receive free services across all outpatient clinics. Additionally, the hospital will provide free pediatric examinations for all newborns up to one year of age and offer complimentary check-up packages to the parents of babies named Mehmet Yaman.
