Prof. Rainer Weber to discuss nasal polyp treatments

Prof. Dr. Rainer Weber, acting head of the ENT clinic at Klinikum Karlsruhe, will lead an information session titled ‘Die Nase voll – Operation oder Medikamente bei Nasenpolypen?’ on August 19. The event focuses on the causes of chronic sinusitis and the increasing prevalence of nasal polyps.

During the session, Prof. Weber will discuss various treatment options, including surgical procedures and the use of new medications known as biologics. He will also address individual risk factors, the necessity of follow-up surgeries, and how lifestyle and nutrition can support patient health.
