Professional boxing world title matches announced for November in Tokyo

A series of major professional boxing world title matches has been announced for November 29 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

In the WBA bantamweight division, champion Riku Masuda will undertake his first title defense against Seiya Tsutsumi. Tsutsumi, a former champion, has expressed his intent to reclaim the title he lost due to injury, describing the bout as his own defense. Masuda has issued a provocative challenge, aiming to finish the fight within three rounds.

The event also features WBO super flyweight champion Kenshiro Teraji defending his title against Haziel Amador. Additionally, Yuri Akui will challenge WBA super flyweight champion David Jimenez in an attempt to win a title in a second weight class.

In another scheduled event on November 26 at the EBARA WAVE Arena Ota, WBA minimumweight champion Takeshi Ishii is set to defend his title against Zayversion Medelero of the Philippines. Ryoji Yabuki will also defend his IBF flyweight title against Miel Fajardo of the Philippines.
