Professional development and academic programs announced in Brazil

Various professional development and academic opportunities have been announced in Brazil for the 2026 period.

IRELGOV is launching its 2026 second-semester Mentorship Program, a free initiative designed to foster professional growth in government relations. The program offers up to 15 mentorship slots and 15 mentee slots. Mentors must have at least 10 years of experience, while mentees should have at least two years of undergraduate education. Selected participants will engage in at least four one-hour sessions between September and December 2026. Applications are open from August 12 to August 25, 2026.

Additionally, FGV RI has opened applications for special students in its Professional Master's Program in International Relations for the second semester of 2026. The program allows graduates from any field to take up to two courses per semester in subjects such as International Cooperation and Development, Global Governance, and Qualitative Methods. Classes are held in person at night in São Paulo. The application deadline is June 22, 2026, with classes scheduled to begin on August 11, 2026.
