Professional footballers face recovery following various injuries

Several professional football players have undergone medical evaluations or surgeries following recent injuries.

Antigua GFC reported that players Alexander Robinson and Agustín Maziero experienced muscle discomfort during a match against Deportivo Mixco. Ultrasound examinations confirmed muscle inflammation but ruled out any ruptures. Both players have begun physiotherapy and recovery treatments.

In Bolivia, CDT Real Oruro goalkeeper Alex Arancibia underwent successful surgery in Tarija for an exposed dislocation of his right middle finger. The 36-year-old is expected to be out of action for approximately one and a half to two months. Israel Peña is set to take over starting duties in the absence of Arancibia.

In Ecuador, Mushuc Runa Sporting Club announced that Renato Ibarra underwent surgery in Quito to treat a patellar ligament injury in his left knee. The procedure followed a match against Guayaquil City. The club stated that Ibarra's rehabilitation will follow international protocols and FIFA recommendations.
