Professional forums scheduled in Milan and Lecco regarding housing and welfare
Two professional conferences are scheduled to address urban and social policy in Italy.
In Milan, the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan will host a meeting on November 17 titled “The Public Housing Project.” This second installment of the “Directing Habitation” cycle aims to foster technical and cultural dialogue between professionals and public administration. The discussion will focus on public housing and the role of architectural design in constructing new neighborhoods, addressing challenges such as housing accessibility, urban quality, and social inclusion.
In Lecco, the Politecnico di Milano Territorial Hub will host a conference on November 6 titled “Changing Welfare.” The event focuses on disability reform and the “Life Project” as a driver for service innovation. Organized by ATS Brianza in collaboration with Auser Lecco and Politecnico di Milano, the forum will feature national and regional representatives, including Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli. Topics include regional disability policies, technological innovation in assistance, and the role of local networks in supporting people with disabilities and their caregivers.
