Professional golfers Joaquin Niemann and Brooks Koepka navigate tour transitions
Professional golfers Joaquin Niemann and Brooks Koepka are navigating transitions between major golf tours.
Joaquin Niemann expressed uncertainty regarding his future, stating he is undecided between remaining with LIV Golf or pursuing opportunities with the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour. Niemann noted that he expects to make a decision within a few weeks, weighing the benefits of being a shareholder in LIV against the potential to compete on the elite PGA Tour if a door opens for him.
Brooks Koepka concluded his 2025-2026 season at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at the Old Course in St Andrews. After previously leaving LIV Golf and returning to the PGA Tour via the Returning Member Program, Koepka finished tied for sixth with a cumulative score of 16-under 272. His final round included two eagles, including a 42-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole, marking his best finish on both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.
