Professional training programs launched in Salvador and Santarém

In Salvador, 600 young people have begun a 17-month professional training program through the ‘Projeto Jovem Aprendiz Empreendedor’. Developed by Parque Social in partnership with the Salvador City Hall, the initiative selected participants from approximately 2,400 applicants. The program includes theoretical training followed by practical experience within municipal secretariats and other administrative bodies to prepare them for office assistant roles.

In Santarém, the ‘Capacita Sairé’ initiative provided fire prevention and combat training to entrepreneurs preparing for the Sairé Festival in Alter do Chão. Conducted by the 4th Military Firefighters Group, the training covered fire theory, extinction methods, and the safe handling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). A total of 76 entrepreneurs have been certified through this municipal qualification program to ensure safety and service quality during the upcoming cultural and tourist event.
