Professor Fabrizio Didonna leads clinical MBCT training in Potenza
A specialized clinical training program focused on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) recently concluded in Potenza, Italy. Held from October 2 to 4, the first-level training was led by Professor Fabrizio Didonna, an international expert in the therapeutic model.
The event was organized by New Form Soc. Coop. a r. l. in partnership with the MBCT for OCD International Center and the Scuola di Specializzazione in Psicoterapia di Basilicata. The program provided 24 hours of theoretical and practical training for psychologists, psychotherapists, doctors, and specialists, focusing on evidence-based meditative awareness protocols for treating OCD.
Due to high participation from professionals in Basilicata and neighboring regions, organizers have announced plans to launch a second-level training course. This follow-up program will allow specialists to deepen their clinical application, case supervision, and operational mastery of the protocol.
