Professor Kang-il Kim elected President-Elect of ASIA
Professor Kang-il Kim of Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong has been elected as the President-Elect of the Arthroplasty Society in Asia (ASIA). The announcement was made during the ASIA academic conference held in Hainan, China, from September 10 to 12.
Professor Kim is scheduled to serve as the President of ASIA from 2028 to 2030. He is a recognized expert in knee arthroplasty and joint-preserving surgery, serving as an Active Member of the International Knee Society—a distinction held by only two people in South Korea.
During the conference, a research paper presented by Professor Hyo-beom Lee, a member of Professor Kim's research team, received the Best Oral Presentation Award.
