Professor Radonjić urges political unity to defend Serbian electoral will

Ognjen Radonjić, a professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philosophy, has called for political unity to defend electoral integrity in Serbia. In an interview, Radonjić argued that the key to regime change lies in supporting the 'Studentska lista' (Student List) to avoid fragmented ideological debates.

Radonjić emphasized that while other political actors remain important, their primary role should be providing the infrastructure—such as legal experts, observers, and logistics—to monitor the electoral process. He warned that the opposition must be prepared to defend the public's will through organized, non-violent street actions, mass protests, and institutional blockades if organized criminal groups attempt to claim victory through electoral fraud.

To effectively protect the vote, Radonjić suggested establishing a unified opposition control system, including a shared database of poll workers and lawyers, clear protocols for reporting irregularities, and a coordination center to monitor developments in real-time. He also stressed the necessity of intense and constructive communication with international actors.
