Professora Dorinha campaigns on female representation and healthcare partnerships in Tocantins

Tocantins gubernatorial candidate Professora Dorinha (União Brasil) has focused her recent campaign activities on female political representation and healthcare expansion. During a meeting in Palmas, Dorinha called for women to mobilize at the polls to elect the state’s first female governor and increase female presence in the Legislative Assembly.

In a separate initiative, Dorinha visited Hospital Oswaldo Cruz to discuss strengthening the Unified Health System (SUS). She proposed a model where private hospitals act as partners to complement the public network, utilizing existing private infrastructure to expand medical assistance to the population. The hospital's director-general, Dr. Walter Machado, noted the candidate's commitment to using private sector partnerships to improve public health access.
