Professora Dorinha meets with IT and education leaders in Tocantins

Tocantins gubernatorial candidate Professora Dorinha (União Brasil) has met with key state entities to discuss public service modernization and educational infrastructure.

During a meeting with the Association of Information and Communication Technology Public Servants of Tocantins (AsticTO), Dorinha signed a commitment to advocate for a specific career and remuneration plan (PCCR) for IT professionals. The association noted that the lack of a structured career path has caused specialists to leave the state public sector for private or federal opportunities. Dorinha emphasized that technological modernization and improved public service quality depend on valuing these professionals.

Additionally, Dorinha met with the rector of the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO), Paula Karini, to discuss institutional priorities. The IFTO leadership presented demands including the construction of student restaurants, classroom expansions, vehicle fleet renewal, and resources for students with disabilities. The rector highlighted previous investments made by Dorinha during her parliamentary tenure and expressed a desire for continued collaboration between the institute and the state government.
