Program Indonesia Pintar effectiveness studied in Bener Meriah
A study from Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry examines the effectiveness of the Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) in Bener Meriah Regency. The government policy aims to assist students from low-income or vulnerable families to ensure continued access to education.
In 2025, 4,222 students in Bener Meriah received PIP assistance. However, the implementation faces several challenges, including issues with targeting the correct recipients, data verification, lack of understanding regarding program mechanisms, disbursement obstacles, and insufficient oversight of fund utilization.
