Plasmon returns to Italian control under NewPrinces group

The return of the Plasmon brand to Italian industrial control under the NewPrinces group has been highlighted as a significant reinforcement of the ‘Made in Italy’ asset within the global agrifood and nutrition sectors. Angelo Mastrolia, president of NewPrinces and Plasmon, emphasized a commitment to revitalizing the supply chain by supporting small, high-quality regional producers, particularly in the milk sector, to ensure long-term sustainability and excellence.

Federico Eichberg of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (Mimit) noted that the investment demonstrates the continued international appeal of Italian brands. He pointed to the record-breaking growth in Italian agrifood exports, which reached approximately 73 billion euros in the international market, as a sign of the sector's strategic importance.

In Latina, where Plasmon employs over 300 people, local officials and medical professionals are collaborating through initiatives like the Programma Academy. This academic project brings together institutions and pediatricians to focus on infant nutrition as a vital component of long-term health, fostering synergy between industrial production and scientific expertise.
