Progreso recognized as a leading company in Central America

Progreso has been recognized as a leading company in Guatemala and the wider Central American and Dominican Republic region in the 2026 Ranking of Leading Companies, according to Revista Summa.

The multinational company, which operates in the construction, agriculture, energy, and real estate development sectors, was evaluated based on a survey of 1,500 executives regarding innovation, culture, and corporate leadership.

In Guatemala, Progreso secured first place in Learning Agility, third place in Innovation, and third place in Organizational Culture. The award was accepted by the company's president, Thomas Dougherty, in Guatemala City.
