Project Eleven integrates Quantus into Strongpoint custody platform
Project Eleven has announced a partnership with Quantus to integrate the Quantus Network into Strongpoint, an institutional crypto custody platform designed for the post-quantum era. Quantus will serve as a development partner, with network support aimed for the first quarter of 2027.
The collaboration addresses the security risks posed by advances in quantum computing, which could eventually undermine current cryptographic methods used to protect private keys and authorize transactions. Because different blockchain networks are expected to adopt various post-quantum signature schemes and migration methods, institutions face the risk of having to repeatedly rebuild their security infrastructure.
Strongpoint aims to provide a consistent operational layer that separates institutional security controls from the underlying cryptographic mechanisms. This approach, known as crypto-agility, is intended to allow financial institutions to manage assets across multiple blockchains without the high costs and operational complexity of constant system overhauls as cryptographic standards evolve.
