Project Eleven launches Strongpoint post-quantum custody platform

Project Eleven has launched Strongpoint, a flagship custody platform designed to help institutions navigate the transition to post-quantum cryptography. The platform aims to provide a consistent control layer for managing digital assets, allowing institutions to maintain security controls even as underlying cryptographic standards evolve.

The Zcash Foundation has joined as an initial development partner to help shape the architecture of Strongpoint. This partnership focuses on ensuring that custody infrastructure can respect Zcash’s privacy model while remaining adaptable to changing cryptographic requirements.

The launch addresses concerns regarding the vulnerability of digital assets to quantum computing, with estimates suggesting that more than $1 trillion in assets could be at risk from sufficiently powerful quantum computers.
