Projeto Cine Samba Returns Aug 15 to Centro Cultural da Justiça

The Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal hosted the Projeto Cine Samba on 15 August, organized by multi‑artist Haroldo César. The free, all‑ages event featured screenings of three Brazilian short films—"Na Sala de Aula", "Lixo no Lixo" and "LIXONÃO"—which address education, environmental awareness and the transformative power of art.

After the films, a samba roda was performed by the group Compositores Resistência with a special appearance by Sarau Arquethypos. The project seeks to create a permanent space where audiovisual works, music and cultural memory intersect, promoting independent productions that reflect popular Brazilian life.
