Projeto Leme Paranaguá launches free port sector training

The Projeto Leme Paranaguá has launched its first cycle of free technical training aimed at preparing young people for the port sector in Paranaguá. The initiative, funded by the China Merchants Foundation and supported by TCP (Terminal de Contêineres de Paranaguá), involves an investment of over R$ 500,000 in professional qualification and social development.

The program intends to offer a total of 420 vacancies across four cycles. The first group consists of 105 apprentices. Training courses include Port Warehouse Clerk, Gate Operational Assistant, and Port Operations Assistant. Demand for the program was high, with nearly 700 applicants for the initial 105 spots.
