Projeto Reage Brasil launches free‑course social centre in Santa Cruz, Rio

On 27 June 2026 the Reage Brasil Project inaugurated a new social centre in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro. The facility on Rua Fernanda offers free certified courses in trades such as electricity, refrigeration, barbering, Spanish, design and caregiving, as well as sports programs including jiu‑jitsu, judo and football for local youth and adults. Registrations are open via a dedicated phone line. Organisers say the centre aims to boost professional qualification, community inclusion and civic engagement for residents of Santa Cruz and surrounding districts.

Project leaders highlighted the centre’s role in creating concrete opportunities for personal development and future employment, positioning it as a hopeful step toward social transformation in the western zone of the city.
