Projeto Viver 60+ launches elderly health program in Itapoã

The Projeto Viver 60+ initiative has launched in Itapoã, offering free activities designed to improve the health and social integration of elderly residents. The program, which runs through October 16, 2026, at the Fazendinha space, focuses on promoting independence and healthy lifestyle habits.

The weekly schedule includes physiotherapy and psychology sessions on Tuesday afternoons, followed by adapted physical exercises. Thursdays are dedicated to health lectures, dance workshops, games, and recreational activities. Project coordinator Marli Andrade noted that the initiative aims to strengthen community ties and encourage social participation among seniors.
