Prokopios Pavlopoulos releases revised 4th edition of his book on national issues and Cyprus

The fourth edition of former President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos’s book “Studies for National Issues and the Cyprus Issue” has been released by Eurasia Publishing. The revised volume expands to 580 pages and updates the analysis originally presented in earlier editions.

In the introduction Pavlopoulos links the need for the new edition to recent geopolitical developments, citing the ongoing Russian‑Ukrainian war, the United States‑Israel strike on Iran, and Turkey’s heightened pressure on Greece and Cyprus. He stresses that these tensions exacerbate challenges for the European Union and underline the importance of reinforcing the solidarity clause of Article 42(7) of the EU Treaty in relation to the Cyprus problem.
