Prolagos advances modernization of Praia do Siqueira sewage plant

Prolagos has reached a new milestone in the modernization of the Praia do Siqueira Sewage Treatment Plant (ETE) in Cabo Frio. The company recently completed the concreting of a new decanter, involving the pouring of 195 cubic meters of concrete over an area of 615 square meters.

The upgrade aims to increase the facility's average treatment capacity by 50%, reaching approximately 400 liters of sewage per second. The project includes the construction of two new decanters, aeration tanks, and the implementation of tertiary treatment, which is an advanced level of sanitation.

This specific project represents an investment of nearly R$ 110 million. It is part of a broader R$ 450 million sanitation expansion plan by Prolagos within the Região dos Lagos.
