Mendoza wine industry expands commercial and real estate presence in Brazil
Mendoza's wine industry is expanding its footprint in Brazil through commercial missions and new real estate developments. ProMendoza recently led a trade mission to Brazil, including participation in ProWine São Paulo and professional tastings in Rio de Janeiro. The initiative aimed to position Mendoza as a reference viticultural origin and included eight wineries: Clop Wines, Viñedos del Sur, Jorge Rubio, Domiciano de Barrancas, Ladera de los Andes, Baudrón, Kineta, and Mi Terruño Winery & Vineyards.
In a specific corporate move, Huarpe Riglos Family Wines has launched operations in Brazil in partnership with importer SetWines. The winery aims to sell 150,000 bottles over the next three years, targeting the premium segment in retail and gastronomy.
Additionally, the Next Group is developing the ‘Wine Ecosystem Mendoza’ in the Uco Valley. Scheduled for presentation in November 2026, the project involves 100 residential lots priced between US$ 100,000 and US$ 150,000. The development combines high-end housing with vineyard participation and business networking opportunities.
