Promerica and Rica shares decline on Dominican Republic Stock Exchange

Shares of Banco Múltiple Promerica led losses on the Dominican Republic Stock Exchange (BVRD) on Friday, October 16. The preferred shares dropped 2.93% to RD$100.00, marking their lowest level in twelve months following a single transaction of RD$1,010,400.

Other major equity issuers on the BVRD, Cesar Iglesias and Grupo Rica, also closed the session with losses. While Promerica experienced a high-volume movement that pushed prices to a critical technical support level, Cesar Iglesias continues a multi-month downward trend, and Grupo Rica saw a slight retreat within a narrow range.
