Promitheas Patras appoints former player Apollon Tsochlas as assistant coach

Greek basketball club KAΕ Promitheas Patras announced a new technical‑staff partnership with former A1 player Apollon Tsochlas. Tsochlas, born 20 August 1983, will join head coach Georgios Vovoras, assisting also Michalis Michalakos and Giannis Dagi. His playing career included stints at Aris Glyfada, Kefallinia, Doukas, Rethymno (2009‑2013), PAOK (2013‑2020), Olympiacos B, Trikala, Megara and Milonas. After serving as an assistant coach with Panionios in the 2025/26 season, he moves to Promitheas Patras for the upcoming campaign.

The club expressed confidence in Tsochlas’s experience and wished him health and success in his new role.
